FAIRFAX, NOVEMBER 14, 2023 – The top global provider for debt collections software, C&R Software, confirms its dedication to data security with the ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management System (ISMS). With clients spanning 61 countries, C&R Software has been focused on maintaining and enhancing its position as a trusted software provider for creditors regardless of industry or location. ISO 27001:2022 is the second security certification C&R Software has obtained within 2023 – having earned the PCI DSS certification in Q2.

“As a globally recognized leader in the collections and recovery space, a highly regulated industry with strict and varying compliance laws, it’s our responsibility to guarantee client data is secure and meets the rigorous international standard,” said Arif Hameed, CISO at C&R Software. “Obtaining this certification is no easy task – we were able to succeed quicker than expected thanks to a team that’s passionate about data security. We’re proud to be early adopters of the updated standards required to obtain this certification.”

The focus of ISO 27001:2022 is to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the information in a company. Its key focus is on risk management – identifying where risks are and treating them through the implementation of extensive security safeguards. It also covers product development, cloud operations, customer support, Professional Services, infrastructure focusing on the protection of client and organization information, product source code and assets. To earn this certification means C&R Software has demonstrated its systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information through its SaaS-based products: Debt Manager, PlacementsPlus, and Agency Network.
